As easy as the upper eyelid correction is, as difficult is the lower eyelid correction. The surgeon makes an incision approximately one millimetre below the eyelashes so that the scar is no longer visible at a later time.
Excess skin and especially the fatty tissue that causes the so-called lacrimal sacs are carefully removed. In individual cases, the laser or radio frequency can also be used for this purpose. The wound is then closed with the finest threads.
The same recommendations apply for subsequent care as for upper eyelid correction. In order to avoid the development of so-called "runny eyes", the recommendations should be followed carefully and precisely.
Upper and lower eyelid correction can also be performed simultaneously. We recommend general anesthesia or half-asleep. The same recommendations as for upper eyelid correction apply for follow-up treatment.
