Correction of retracted scars after caesarean section, appendectomy or abdominal wall surgery

Gentle scar correction after caesarean section or appendectomy

Gentle treatment under local anesthesia

Indented or hardened scars after a caesarean section or appendectomy can not only be visually disturbing, but also feel uncomfortable. They often pull the skin inwards, appear uneven or interrupt the silhouette.

I offer a modern and particularly gentle method with which such scars can be improved – completely without general anesthesia.

This is how the treatment works:

Under local anesthesia (tumescent local anesthesia), the scar is first carefully loosened through an approx. 3 mm incision under the skin. To do this, I use a fine endoscopic technique to cut through the adhered layers of tissue without opening the skin from the outside.

The surrounding fatty tissue is then slightly adjusted – i.e. small fat deposits are removed or redistributed if necessary. This creates an even transition and allows the skin to reattach itself naturally.

The result:

The retracted scar is lifted and the skin appears smoother, softer and more harmonious. The feeling of tension or pressure can often be significantly alleviated.

Who is this treatment suitable for?

This method is particularly suitable for patients with:

✔ Retracted or sunken scars after caesarean section

Disturbing scars after appendectomy or other abdominal operations

✔ Irregular course of fat around the scar

I would be happy to advise you personally and without obligation as to whether this technique is suitable for your scar.
