We use tumescent regional anaesthesia for both local and general anaesthesia. Our experienced team of anaesthetists is here to ensure your well-being. We are not only concerned with your beauty but also with your health and well-being.

Tumescent Local Anaesthesia (TLA)

Compared to general anaesthesia, tumescent regional anaesthesia is gentler and better tolerated. We blend a local anaesthetic, a vasoconstrictor and bicarbonate with several litres of physiological saline solution.

The advantage is that major bruising is prevented and the diffusion of the local anaesthetic and tolerance by tissues is improved. TLA is readily used not only in liposuction but also for other operations such as the removal of varicose veins.

For more major operations or at the special request of the patient, a highly qualified team of anaesthetists is available. The novelty in this area is that as soon as 10-15 minutes after waking up, patients can take liquids and unlike previously, no longer suffer an excruciating feeling of thirst. In general, patients can already take food 1-2 hours after the operation.
