Upper eyelid correction

Drooping upper eyelids are a herald of skin ageing.

An upper eyelid correction can remove this external impression of fatigue and age so that the eyes appear fresher and more youthful.

The relatively easy operation lasts for around 40 minutes under local anaesthetic.

In the operation, after careful individual marking, the troublesome parts of the skin and excess fat tissue are removed.

After careful arrest of bleeding, the wound is closed with very fine stitches or tissue glue, so that the scars in the natural enveloping skin fold are subsequently almost invisible.

During the healing process, the wound is carefully treated with corresponding ointments and after at most five days, the stitches may be removed.

The rapid healing process is supported by frequent cooling, wearing sunglasses and avoiding sport and mechanical influences.
